THE DOMINGO ALONSO GROUP INVESTS OVER 2 MILLION IN ITS IT DIVISION AND HAS OPENED OFFICES IN FIVE LATIN AMERICAN COUNTRIES

The Domingo Alonso Group has taken another step in its international expansion and diversification strategy by investing over 2 million euros in its IT, Communication and Consulting Division, generating more than 150 jobs in five countries.

The Canarian company acquires 50% of a company in Chile, that has over 40 years experience in computer systems, to create IPGS, the new consultancy firm. IPGS, a joint venture with other strategic partners, will operate in Santiago de Chile, Buenos Aires, Bogotá, Lima, and Mexico City.

IPGS, already operating throughout Latin America, has set up its main regional office in Miami, Florida, could possibly begin trading with American customers in 2015/16.

This business is committed to excellent service and offers comprehensive technological solutions for the car, construction, mining, energy, distribution and retail sectors, by bringing together the experience of nearly 150 professionals.

Among the solutions are products developed by the Group´s different Software Factorys, which is achieved by transferring knowledge and experience from a mature European market to a growing market such as the Latin American.

In order to define this company´s strategies and guidelines, the Domingo Alonso Group organized various workshops from 11 to 14 March, for the management teams from different countries. This meeting took place in Miami, a city that in recent years has become a geostrategic reference for the Latin American market, where the Group, two years ago, opened its first corporate office in the region.

Gustavo Medina and Juan Ferrer, are two of the contributors in the Group´s latest project. Gustavo Medina, founder and director of Singular Factory, a company the creates online products and businesses, had the opportunity to present the management team with their latest products to be distributed throughout Latin America at the hands of IPGS. While Juan Ferrer Ferre, founder of Ferrer Executive Development, gave a presentation on leadership and coaching called, "Change Management in Organizations", which will also be presented in Latin America.
