Once again, Domingo Alonso Group´s management team met up for the Internal Management Convention. This fourth edition took place at the Parador de Tejeda, on the island of Gran Canaria, last January. The aim of this annual meeting is to establish strategies for the coming year and strengthen the Group´s teams with workshops, presentations and outdoor training sessions.

This year´s claim was "1 + 1> 2", focusing on teamwork over individualism and the benefits that this approach has for the company and its employees. The new corporate structure was explained, along with restructuring in some of the companies that make up the Group. At the same time, projects implemented during the year as well as those launching in 2014 were assessed. It stressed the importance of teamwork, when facing new challenges, investments and goals.

The Group´s executives enjoyed an action-packed day, which included blind tasting different wines with Mario Reyes, sommelier and owner of Restaurant "El Zarcillo", as well as various team building activities in the recreational area of "La Presa de las Niñas", helping to illustrate how working as a team brings better and more efficient results.

This IV Internal Convention was topped off by the eminent lecturer Luis Galindo, who offered a stimulating presentation to all those present. Luis Galindo illustrated his talk with examples of soulful companies, mature leadership and self-motivation. The message with the most profound impact was the importance of giving the best version of yourself at all times, of always striving for excellence, both in the workplace and personally.

Three special guests made an appearance at the Parador de Tejeda, and they were the new Audi A3 Sedan, the new ŠKODA Spaceback (both presented at the end of 2013) and the extremely successful Volkswagen Golf, awarded Best Car in Europe and World Car of the Year in 2013.
