Domingo Alonso had the foresight to know what people needed at that time, aside from the ability to get the right product to fulfill such needs, and that product was the Standard Vanguard, being this the final impetus for his company. After the success of the van, Domingo Alonso had not forgotten about the other type of vehicles that were very necessary at the time, trucks; and from 1952 the first MAN trucks started arriving. Nevertheless, in 1961 he lost the status of truck importer, to get it back in December, 1987 and present, then, the brand’s new models.
